Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
Finally watched Harry Potter! The action-packed story as well as the SPECTACULAR effects got me goosebumps many times.
Although the cast of the Resurrection Stone was slightly a disappointment (I expected something like the army of dead in LOTR (pardon me, I do not read HP)), but overall it is definitely a worth watching piece of work.
and, just so that you do not know, remember the German terrorist in Die Hard, Hans Gruber?

He's also our poor Severus Snape-who-died-because-of-a-wand-he-did-not-belong.

Google -- Image recognition
Image recognition has been the research of interest in the field of AI since long ago. and surprisingly,a minute ago I've only found out that Google has actually came out with this application, images.google.com.
Incredibly user friendly, where we only need to drag and drop the image of interest to the search box and it will automatically google for you.
and here's the output, at which the image is successfully found, provided the link of the exact image in the WWW.
But what happen if a random image is fed?
From the obtained results, my first visual conceptual conclusion is that the searching algorithm considers only the colors of the image. So to prove me wrong, another simpler image is tested.
and to my surprise, this is the outcome when the star is fed. It manage to find Australia where the national flag contains the six-pointed star.
Thus, Shape is also being taken care of in the algorithm. So what else...

Twillight
Finally watched Twilight :D Just couldn't stop smiling whenever Edward came into the scene at the beginning, simply gorgeous!! He portrayed the character so well.

But too bad the laptop ran out of batt exactly at the page I bookmarked. No choice but to off the movie and got back to the book again.
1 thing I can conclude, books are ALWAYS better than the movies, with no exception so far.

Guppy and Beta Competation 2011
Went to International Guppy and Beta Competition last weekend in Gurney Plaza.
The guppy were so-so, that's why didn't any pic of it.
Didn't manage to go to 'Battle of the chefs' in Straits Quay also, becoz by the time we'd done the shopping and etc, it's already 10pm.
p/s: and went to the non-chocolate-at-all chocolate fair in PISA. It's a disappointment where I only saw 1 booth with chocolate products. It's jz a normal not-up2par food fair afterall..
